The other day my partner was walking home along the greenway when he saw a kid’s bike tire pop. He not only checks on the kid (he was fine, the inner tube was not). After some back and forth the kid and his friend decide to walk towards home, a number of blocks away. But it doesn’t end there, as soon as he gets home, he grabs our bicycle pump and a spare inner tube and he hoofs it back to see if he can find the kid to repair the tire. He didn’t find that kid and so we think he must have connected with a parent to pick him up. It’s going that extra mile that so impressed me. 🚴‍♂️
